Southern Company

Southern Company is a holding company that owns five power companies here in the southeast, and other divisions that operate their nuclear plants (Southern Nuclear) and other support functions for the utiltities like communications. We even read somewhere they have a railroad division that maintains the rail facilities into the big coal plants. But of course our primary interest is the dams that their power companies own.
